Charter the whole boat, with the price in writing first

A private phinisi charter in Komodo on Elrora Liveaboard means the whole boat for one party of up to 14 guests across 6 cabins. The price is on request: we quote it in writing for your dates and trip length before you pay anything, and if Elrora has to stay in port, a replacement boat sails in her place.
Price on request, written down before you pay
You will not find a whole-boat price on this page. It moves with three things, the date, the nights and your head count, and we print no figure we cannot honour. Send us those three things and we reply with one written quote, clear enough to forward to the whole family.
You pay nothing until you have read that quote and said yes. The table lists the trip lengths we quote, each marked on request. Open-trip seats work differently, and their fares are printed on the cabins page.
Each quote spells out the nights, the cabins in use, every inclusion and exclusion, and the date the deposit is due. If a line looks wrong, tell us and we correct it. Your invoice will carry exactly the number you agreed to.

Fourteen guests across six cabins: the head count
On standard beds Elrora sleeps 14. Fourteen guests fill all six cabins; six guests can spread across three and leave the rest empty. The boat is yours either way.
Fifteen or more needs a second boat; ask us. The bed plan below maps every berth, deck by deck. The Family cabin sleeps four on a double and two singles; each of the other five sleeps two.
Let us know how old everyone is and how they are related. Newly-weds travelling with parents can take different decks, a group of friends the same one; you decide. The cabin plan arrives in writing with the quote, and we go over it with you again before the balance is due.

In the charter and outside it
Your charter price covers the cabins, meals on board, drinking water, coffee and tea, snorkelling gear with life vests, and the route's stops as the weather allows. Elrora's own crew sails her.
Outside the price: park tickets, other drinks, crew tips, flights and travel insurance. A private charter also excludes a guide and photo or video documentation. Either can be added on request, each on its own priced line, and only if you want it.
Pickup in Labuan Bajo is set for your date and confirmed in writing. No cost is added to your price without a written quote first. KEXI's park package covers the government entrance ticket (PP 36/2024), the ranger and the local levies; the package is paid on top of the boat price unless the quote marks it as included.

Komodo National Park package per guest: 3D2N: IDR 650,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest; 4D3N: IDR 750,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest. It includes the government entrance ticket, the ranger fee and local levies.
A replacement phinisi when Elrora stays in port
Any boat can be kept in port by a repair, the weather or an inspection. If that happens to Elrora on your dates, a phinisi of equal or higher standing sails in her place, on the same date, at no added charge.
You are free to say no to the swap and take a complete refund within 14 days. Before you decide, we write to you with the replacement boat's name and its cabin plan.
The guarantee exists because a charter is booked weeks out and flights are bought around it. Your dates and your head count stay fixed, whichever boat carries you. And if the replacement does not suit your party, the full refund is still yours.
July and August, and other dates that are taken
In July and August Elrora runs open trips only, so no private charter is sold for those months. Choose another month for the whole boat, or book cabins on a shared sailing in July or August.
The rest of the calendar fills as the year goes on. Send your first-choice date with one or two alternatives, and we check all of them in one reply. Only the deposit secures a date, so writing early keeps more of them open to you.
Dates already sold as shared sailings are marked on the open-trip calendar. For a private charter you need a free date outside July and August; April to June and October to November also bring the calmest sea.
Message, written quote, deposit: your date is then held
Send dates, nights and head count on WeChat; a written quote is the reply. A 50% deposit secures the date, and you clear the balance 30 days ahead of boarding.
Cancelling at 60 days or earlier returns 50%; at 30 to 59 days, 25%. After that the deposit is kept. The full schedule is on the terms page. If you cannot settle on the number of nights, ask for a two-night and a three-night quote in the same reply.
Moving your date is free if you ask at least 30 days out. From 14 to 29 days the change costs IDR 500,000; a move asked for within the final 14 days is treated as cancelling. Infants to age 2 are free of charge; 3-year-olds and older pay full fare.

FAQ
How much does a three-day charter on a phinisi cost?
Elrora's three-day whole-boat price is given on request, written for your date and head count, and you confirm it before paying. If one cabin suits you better than the whole boat, open-trip seats on the same route have printed fares, from IDR 6,500,000 per person.
How many guests can a private yacht take?
Elrora takes 14 guests across 6 cabins on standard beds. A larger party needs a second boat. The Family cabin takes four, and each of the other cabins takes two. We write the cabin plan for your party before the deposit is due.
Can the whole boat sail with fewer guests than cabins?
Yes. A party of two can take the whole boat, and a party of six can spread across three cabins and leave the others empty. The quote is for the boat and the dates, not per head, and we write your cabin plan before the deposit is due.
Are the park fees extra on top of the charter price?
Yes. The park ticket is its own payment and never sits inside a fare. An international adult ticket is IDR 250,000. KEXI's park package covers the government entrance ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day, PP 36/2024), the ranger and the local levies; the package is paid on top of the boat price unless the quote marks it as included.
What if the boat is not available on my date?
Another phinisi of equal or higher standing takes your date at no extra cost; decline it, and every rupiah you paid returns within 14 days. Either way we write to you and describe the substitute boat before you decide.
Can I book a Komodo trip for 2027 already?
Yes. Open-trip departures for 2027 are on the calendar, taken from the supplier's schedule of 1 November 2026, and we confirm each cabin before you pay. The supplier's 2027 price list matches the 2026 one; if a fare changes before your balance is due, we tell you first.
