Eight occasions, and what each one changes on board
Updated 2 November 2026
Private phinisi voyages by occasion on Elrora Liveaboard: eight pages, each written for one kind of party, from a honeymoon for two to a company retreat of up to 14 guests. Every page shows the days, the cabins and an example in seat fares. The whole boat is quoted in writing.
Eight reasons to take a whole boat
Parties choose a whole boat for different reasons. A honeymoon wants privacy. A family across three generations wants a pace that suits the oldest and the youngest. A company wants a place with no other guests and a way to settle one invoice. Friends want to split the cost of six cabins.
The grid below lists eight occasions. Each links to a page that follows the same pattern: what changes in the days, which cabins fit the party, and an example built from the printed seat fares. The whole-boat price is never printed; it is quoted in writing for your date.
Read the page closest to your party. Then write to us with the dates and the head count. Short messages are welcome.
How each occasion changes the days
The route stays. The pace changes. A honeymoon slows the mornings and keeps the sunsets. A family shortens the climbs and adds rest in the afternoon. A company schedules a working morning in the dining room or on the sundeck, with the climbs placed around it so that the walking days stay separate from the working ones.
Friends lengthen the evenings. Photographers build the day around first and last light. Walkers and snorkellers take every optional stop. A couple marking an anniversary or a birthday asks for one small arrangement, quoted in writing and never promised in advance.
The cabins change too. A honeymoon takes the Master cabin on the main deck. A family spreads across the Master, a Deluxe and the Family cabin. A company assigns cabins by seniority. We write the cabin plan for you before the deposit.
Which page to read first
If you are not sure which fits, start with these three: the honeymoon, the three-generation family and the executive retreat. Between them they answer most of the questions about cabins, stairs, paperwork and cost.
If your occasion is not listed, the closest page still applies. A reunion reads like the family page, a team outing like the retreat, a birthday for ten like the friends page. Tell us what you are celebrating, and we point you to the right one.
Every occasion page ends with an example in seats and fares, so you can see a real number before you write. Whole-boat quotes come separately, in writing, within one working day of your message. That is the whole procedure.
