Six cabins for friends who want one schedule and one invoice

Updated 2 November 2026

A Komodo friends group private phinisi charter on Elrora Liveaboard offers 6 cabins for up to 14 guests and one written quote to divide among yourselves. Six friends can take three cabins. The open-trip alternative starts at IDR 6,500,000 per seat. A second boat is needed above 14.

Friends who would rather split a boat than fight over a schedule

A group of friends can spend a month choosing where to go and a week arguing about when to leave. A private phinisi settles half of that. The boat has six cabins, one route and one captain. The group chooses the date. The weather chooses the stops.

Elrora takes up to 14 guests. Six friends need three cabins, eight need four, and ten need five or six depending on who shares. Each cabin carries a bathroom and air conditioning of its own, so friends who do not share a bed need not share a bathroom either.

Above fourteen, a second boat is needed. Ask us about it; each boat has its own crew and its own cabin plan.

Six cabins, up to fourteen seats

Six friends can take the Master cabin, a Deluxe cabin and a Superior cabin: two seats at IDR 11,500,000, two at IDR 9,750,000 and two at IDR 7,500,000. That is the open-trip price on a shared date. It shows the shape of the sum.

The whole boat has no printed price. It is quoted in writing for your date and your nights, and you divide it among the friends who come. Fourteen friends fill every cabin: the Master, two Deluxe, two Superior and the Family cabin for four.

Park tickets are paid on top, for each guest. Drinks other than water, coffee and tea are not included, and neither are crew tips.

A timetable for friends who linger over breakfast

Boarding is at about 10:00 in Labuan Bajo, with the exact time confirmed for your date. The first afternoon holds Kelor, a snorkel stop at Manjarite and the bats at Kalong. The night is spent on board.

Padar is the early start, and it is also the only one. After it, breakfast can run as long as the group likes, because the captain moves on when the party is ready, within what the tide and the weather allow. Pink Beach, the Komodo Island walk, Taka Makassar and Manta Point fill the day.

The last morning has one more snorkel stop and the pier at 11:00. Book flights after 14:00 so that the farewell lunch is not rushed.

Dividing one invoice among eight friends

A charter has one quote and one invoice. The simplest way to divide it is for one friend to pay and the others to transfer their share. Wise and Revolut make small transfers easy between friends in different countries.

If you want us to divide the payment among several friends, ask. We confirm in writing whether it is possible before you rely on it. A 50% deposit secures the date; the remainder is payable 30 days before you sail.

Evenings are spent in the dining room, at the deck table or on the sundeck, all of which are shared. Tell us about dietary needs before departure, and we pass them on. A large group fills the dining room, so say early if you expect everyone to eat at the same time.

How to confirm a head count

Start with the number you are sure of and tell us the range. We write the quote for the full range and the cabin plan for the lower number. You then confirm the final count before the balance is due.

Should a friend drop out once the deposit is paid, we redraw the cabin plan and the date remains secure. A change of date follows the schedule on the terms page. Passport details for every guest are collected 7 days before sailing.

Send us the dates, the number of friends and who shares with whom. We reply in writing with the cabins that fit. Keep the first message short. We ask for anything else.

FAQ

Do we pay the full amount upfront, or can friends pay a deposit first?

The date is secured by a 50% deposit, with the remainder payable 30 days before you sail. The quote and the invoice are made out once, for the whole group. You divide the amounts between you, or ask us if we can split the payment, and we reply in writing.

Can we change the date if a friend cannot come?

Yes. A change asked for at least 30 days ahead costs nothing. From 14 to 29 days before sailing it costs IDR 500,000. Closer than 14 days, it counts as a cancellation. If one friend drops out, the cabin plan is rewritten and the rest of the booking stays as it was.

What are the cabins like for a group of friends?

The Master cabin has a king bed and a balcony. The Deluxe and Superior cabins have queen beds, and the Superior cabins have a porthole. The Family cabin has a double bed and two singles. All six have their own bathroom and air conditioning, so each pair has its own room.
