A VVIP phinisi for a luxury private charter in Komodo is only as good as its list, so we give the list. Elrora Liveaboard offers 6 ensuite, air-conditioned cabins on three decks, an indoor dining room, outdoor dining and a sundeck for up to 14 guests. The whole boat is quoted in writing.
Reading the VVIP label on this phinisi
VVIP is our class label for Elrora. It is not a rating from a registry. We use it to mean one thing: this is the top of the range among the boats we sell, judged on cabins, decks and facilities.
The word proves nothing by itself, so the rest of this page lists what stands behind it. You can check each item against the specifications page, and anything we cannot confirm in writing we leave out. A label is worth only the list under it. Ask for the list.
Treat the class as a starting point for questions. Any question about the boat can be put to us, and our reply is in writing before you pay.

Specifications that back the word
Elrora has six cabins, every one with a bathroom of its own and air conditioning. The Master cabin, on the main deck, has a king bed and a balcony to itself. Two Deluxe cabins on the upper deck have queen beds. Two Superior cabins on the lower deck have queen beds and a porthole. The Family cabin takes four.
The boat has three decks, an indoor dining room with a view, outdoor dining on deck and a sundeck. A 40 kVA main generator is backed by a second 40 kVA set. Radar, GPS, an echo sounder, AIS Class A, VHF and SSB radio are on board, with life jackets.
The hull is ironwood and the length on deck is 23.74 m. These are the facts behind the label, no more and no less.
Three decks, six rooms and a dining room with a view
The three decks hold six different rooms. The main deck holds the Master cabin. The upper deck holds the two Deluxe cabins and the sundeck. The lower deck holds the two Superior cabins. The Family cabin completes the six.
Meals are served in an indoor dining room with a view, or at a table outdoors on deck. Drinking water, coffee and tea are included. The cruising speed is 7 to 10 knots, and the day is built around the stops, not the distance.
The 3D2N route is shown below for reference, with the price on request when you take the whole boat. On day one you board, climb Kelor and watch Kalong at dusk. On day two Padar comes first, then the rest of the park. On day three one last snorkel stop brings you to the pier at 11:00. Each night is spent on board.

What a VVIP booking costs
The whole boat is quoted in writing for your dates, so there is no figure on this page. That is a deliberate choice: a price printed in advance would be wrong for half the dates. You send the nights and the head count, and we reply within one working day.
For comparison, an open-trip seat is printed. The Master seat is IDR 11,500,000, a Deluxe seat is IDR 9,750,000, a Superior seat is IDR 7,500,000 and a Family seat is IDR 6,500,000, all per person on a 3D2N sailing.
Park tickets, other drinks, crew tips, flights and insurance are paid separately. Neither a guide nor photo or video coverage is part of a private charter; each can be added on request and priced on its own line.
Service you are told about in writing
We make no promise of services that the boat does not list. We do not offer a butler, a spa or a gym, because none is documented for Elrora. What we promise is written down: the cabin plan, the inclusions, the check-in time, the payment dates and the replacement-boat guarantee.
When Elrora cannot sail on your dates, a phinisi of equal or higher standing takes her place at no added charge, or you take a complete refund within 14 days. Special wishes, such as a dinner or a photographer, are quoted for your date.
Advisor's note. Ask for each wish in writing and wait for the written answer. A promise made in conversation is worth less than a line in the quote.
A sum for the Master and two Deluxe cabins
Six guests can take the Master cabin and both Deluxe cabins: two seats at IDR 11,500,000 and four seats at IDR 9,750,000. That is a shared-date price for three cabins, which meets the minimum for a sailing to go ahead.
If you want the other three cabins empty and the boat to yourselves, the whole-boat quote applies. It is written for your date, and you can compare it with the seat sum above.
Add the park tickets to either figure. Then decide whether the privacy or the lower fare matters more to your party. Both quotes arrive in writing, and neither commits you to anything until the deposit is paid. That is the whole decision.

FAQ
Is every cabin air-conditioned, and does each have a private bathroom?
Yes. Every cabin has a bathroom inside and air conditioning, whether it is the Master cabin on the main deck or a Superior cabin below. The cabins differ in bed, deck and outlook: the Master has a king bed and a balcony, and the Superior and Family cabins have a porthole.
What food is included on board?
Meals on board are included, together with drinking water, coffee and tea. Mention dietary needs before departure and our written reply says what can be done. We do not promise a particular dish or a particular tea. Other drinks are not in the fare: bring any you want, or ask us whether any are sold on board.
Can I bring my own snacks or buy extra drinks?
Drinks other than water, coffee and tea are not included. Guests bring any other drinks they want. Share your wishes before departure, and a written reply says what is possible on board. Park tickets and crew tips are separate from the fare.
