Elrora Notes: short pieces for people planning a private voyage

Elrora Notes is the journal of the Elrora Liveaboard booking team: short, checked pieces for travellers planning a Komodo voyage from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore or Malaysia. We publish a piece only when there is something exact to say.
What Elrora Notes holds
Elrora Notes holds plain, dated pieces on the questions worth settling before you book. Which month suits a family. What the park charges, and what it does not. How a payment moves from yuan, Hong Kong dollars or Taiwan dollars to a rupiah invoice. What a day on board looks like.
Each note is written by the booking team. It is checked against the facts on this site, and it is dated. When a fact changes, the note changes and says so. We do not publish to fill a calendar. Silence is better than filler. Each piece reads quickly on a phone and is exact enough to forward to a parent, partner or fellow traveller unchanged.

Newest notes come first. Each has its date. A piece on a season is checked against the month it describes. A piece on a rule is checked against the rule, and it carries the date of the check.
Nothing here is advertising dressed as advice. A piece that praises the boat without a fact behind it is not worth your time. We do not publish it. A piece that tells you what to check, what to pack or what to ask, with the reason, is one we are glad to put our name to.
